Hibaldstow,Kirton Airfield & Wickenby – 20th April 2019
A trip up to Skydive at Hibaldstow Airfield in North Lincolnshire to picture the newly arrived D-ISCO, a Dornier Do-28 Turbo conversion ex HA-ACO . I made my way via Wickenby to see if anything was visiting and a Coffee at the Café.
I arrived at Hibaldstow to find the aircraft was operating from the main runway and Paratroopers were bused out to the aircraft. Plan B was to try and find a field near the runway so I could picture the aircraft. After a few more flights I was able to get into position to get my pictures.
D-ISCO : Dornier Do-28D-2 Turbo Skyservant c/n 4335 ex HA-ACO
The next port of call was the Trent Valley Gliding Club at Kirton Airfield just a few miles away down the A15 , Always a warm welcome here , I asked if I could drive out to the club bus parked near the runway and made my way round.
