While visiting Family in the North West I took the opportunity to visit the Hooton Park Trust and “The Aeroplane collection”, this has been on my to-do list for a long time. The Aircraft collection has not yet opened for the summer season so I had the Hangar to myself.
I had a steady walk round the main museum Hangar where the aircraft are on show and in the process of being rebuilt, A lot of great work is in progress after having a new roof fitted to the World War 1 era Hangars, Airframes that were built at Hooton Park are also on show with more in the pipe line, below is a record of Airframes on show I pictured on the day . I will return when next in the Area.
