Lincolnshire Airfields No. 21 Fenland – Holbeach St. Johns
Fenland Airfield sits about 7 miles SE of Spalding and is the home of Fenland Aero Club, My visit was made on 17th April 2016 on a Sunday to tie in with the Daffodil Fly in. A great Clubhouse with café and toilets, it also had a good viewing area near to the runway. I asked and was granted permission to wonder around.
A very active airfield the first place was to photo the Replica Mew Gull G-HEKL that was about ready to leave for Shobdon.The Airfield owners Son gave a few of us a tour around the Hangars and let use into the fly in Aircraft parking area. I have posted pictures and a log of the visit and would like to thank the Aero Club for a great visit.
